We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Waitress

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Taking Orders: Greeting customers, presenting menus, and taking food and drink orders accurately.
• Serving Food and Beverages: Carrying food and drinks from the kitchen to the tables, ensuring accuracy, and delivering items promptly.
• Knowledge of Menu: Having a good understanding of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer customer questions.
• Customer Assistance: Providing recommendations, accommodating special requests or dietary needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
• Handling Payments: Presenting bills, processing payments, and handling cash or card transactions accurately.
• Cleaning and Resetting Tables: Clearing tables, cleaning up after customers, and resetting tables for the next guests.
• Collaboration with Kitchen Staff: Communicating orders to the kitchen, ensuring accuracy, and coordinating with chefs or cooks to meet customer requests.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the dining area clean and organized, including regular cleaning tasks and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Teamwork: Collaborating with other waitstaff, hosts, and managers to provide efficient and effective service.
• Handling Customer Concerns: Addressing any customer complaints or issues professionally and promptly, seeking assistance from management if needed.
• Upselling and Promotion: Suggesting additional items, specials, or promotions to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
• Adherence to Regulations: Following all restaurant policies, procedures, and legal regulations, including alcohol service laws.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with 2 – 3 years relevant work experience.
