Sunset Speech and Language Resource Center is a Speech Therapy center that provides quality therapy services designed to serve individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, Stroke, Down Syndrome, Cerebral palsy, Apraxia of Speech, and other Speech Disorders using a well-recognised scientific procedure, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to get the required results. We work with individauls between the ages of 18 months and above.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Special Needs Educator
Location: Central Area, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- Making and keeping records of every progress of each patient.
- Providing assistance to ensure patients meet their goals.
- Following through on each patients’ goals.
- Counselling patients and their families about the speech disorders, causes and the next steps on diagnoses to the patient.
- Making each therapy session as interesting and fun for our younger patients as possible.
- Assisting patients improve sentence structure, vocabulary, sounds, and articulation in both written and oral language.
Skills and Qualification
- Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology, or its equivalent.
- Has at least 2 years working experience in an education or health care sector.
- Is adept with Microsoft office.
- Has the compassion, passion and patience with working with children.
- Possesses a unique attention to details.
- Possesses communicative, listening and critical thinking skills.

Contract Terms:
