Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Igogbo – Ikorodu, Lagos

Job Brief

• We are looking to hire a skilled Procurement Officer who will be responsible for tasks such as evaluating suppliers, sourcing products and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high-quality

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly plans for the purchase of goods
• Oversee all purchasing activities
• Review, compare, and analyze products and services to be purchased and present for approval
• Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records
• Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc
• Follow and enforce the company’s procurement standards and procedures
• Maintain good supplier relations and negotiate supplies
• Carry out market surveys and evaluate prospective suppliers
• Prepare budgets, cost analyses, and reports.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an HND qualification in Business Management or any related field
• 1 – 2 years cognate experience.
• Proven experience as Procurement Officer
• Knowledge of market trends and principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
