Manager, Sales and Business Development at Atmosfair Climate and Sustainability Limited

Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the expansion of our Save80 cook stoves project in Nigeria:

• All sales and commercial activities,
• Develop and execute sales and marketing of Save80 stoves for to the northern states and Nigerian market at large
• Develop Business models i. a. for sales through banks and other Microfinance Institutions/Organizations
• Hands-on mentality e.g. hiring local warehouses and business partners
• Acquire and maintain local sales partners and networks and negotiate conditions and contracts as needed.
• Organize efficient shipping and handling of the stoves and components
• Act as the local contact for contractors, service providers and local authorities
• Build and lead a team of sales managers
• As part of all these functions, you will report to the technical manager of climate mitigation projects and the management, partly in Germany.

Your Profile

• A good University Degree or a similar qualification showing your business competence
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in business development and sales
• Practical experience in sales of products to low-income target groups
• Demonstrable success in business development tasks
• Hands-on working style,
• Affinity to numbers
• Willingness to move to Kano and to work from Kano
• Motivation to act against climate change
• Business-fluent English knowledge. Language skills in other local languages (e.g. Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, or Fulfulde) are of advantage.
