We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Development Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Effectively monitor and present project updates to the Investment Committee, stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
• Drives the development process through planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, scope, and updating schedules.
• Analyze potential properties to purchase, or develop, create project documents, coordinate due diligence activities, analyze the rental sub-market to determine viability.
• Manage and maintain development schedules to ensure timely completion of development milestones including closing.
• Coordinate the work of project managers and professional consultants, schedule development team meetings and review project reports.
• Perform an oversight function on all activities within the project phases with all project execution parties including third-party consultants.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, or Real Estate Development is preferred.
• Professional qualification in PMP, NIESV, or similar preferred
• Membership of the Association of Developers is an added advantage.
• Must possess minimum of 5 years of multiclass development experience.
• Experience managing developments under deadlines.
• Proven experience navigating Real Estate principles.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel is required; proficiency with MS Project and PowerPoint is preferred
• Good decision-making skills, sound judgment, and problem-solving approach
• Ability to take initiative and with confidence
• Knowledge of land use laws, and real estate development regulations
• Comfortable with public speaking and community presentations.
