Job Description

• We seek a highly skilled and experienced Data Governance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing data governance processes and policies, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data, and maintaining data quality across our organization.
• The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in data governance and a strong background in data management, compliance, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures
• Establish and maintain data quality standards and ensure adherence to these standards
• Monitor and report on data quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements, standards, and business rules
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, etc.
• Establish and manage data governance roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities
• Monitor and manage data access and security
• Develop and deliver training on data governance policies and procedures
• Analyze and report on data governance metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in data governance or related field
• Solid understanding of data management, compliance, and quality assurance
• Experience with data governance frameworks and best practices
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
