A start-up Finance House (the Company) is looking to recruit a Credit Administration Officer to facilitate lending for our clients by assessing creditworthiness and processing relevant paperwork.

Job Summary
Successful Candidate will be responsible for preparing loan applications, evaluating clientsā€™ financial information, and calculating risk ratios. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of lending procedures and customer service experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Review loan requests
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Assess clientsā€™ financial status
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Evaluate creditworthiness and risks
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Analyze risks and proffer recommendation to Management in accordance with the Companyā€™s approved risk limit
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Develop, maintain, and revise credit assessment policy as approved by Management
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Calculate financial ratios (e.g., credit scores and interest rates)
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Set up payment plans
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Maintain updated records of loan applications
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Follow up with clients about loan renewals
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Monitor progress of existing loans
Educational Qualification and Requirements
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā University Degree or equivalent standard with a high numeric content: Statistics, Econometrics, Business Administration / Economics, Mathematics, Finance, etc.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā 2+ years proven work experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer, or similar role
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Hands-on experience with lending procedures and products
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ability to create and process financial spreadsheets
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Customer service experience
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Strong analytical skills
