Job Description
Maintaining accurate financial records:

• Recording all financial transactions.
• Reconciling bank statements.
• Tracking accounts payable and receivable.

Preparing financial statements:

• Creating balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Providing a snapshot of the organization’s financial health.
• Used by investors, lenders, and management for informed decision-making.
• Tax preparation and filing:
• Responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses.

Budgeting and forecasting:

• Developing budgets and forecasts to track spending and plan for the future.

Auditing:

• Performing internal or external audits to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with relevant regulations.

Providing financial advice:

• Offering valuable financial advice to individuals and businesses.
• Topics include investments, retirement planning, and tax minimization.

Skills and Qualifications

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant Degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience as an Accountant.
• Excellent attention to details.
• Proficient in accounting software and principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
