We manufacture different drugs for improve livestock’s health. Our product is specially tailored to suit the environmental sustainability of livestock’s within Nigeria. Our animal health products undergo rigorous quality control to be certified fit for use on farm animals.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Financial Recordkeeping:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
• Update and reconcile financial data regularly to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and review financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for management review.

Accounts Receivable Management:

• Issue and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor and track accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments.
• Follow up with clients regarding overdue payments and initiate appropriate actions to resolve outstanding balances.
• Maintain communication with clients to address any billing or payment inquiries.

Accounts Payable Management:

• Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims.
• Process payments to vendors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate favorable payment terms when possible.

Financial Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements for audits and ensure audit requirements are met.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and implement necessary adjustments to financial processes and procedures.

Financial Analysis:

• Perform financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend analysis, to identify areas of improvement or concern.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Analyze financial data to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.

Relationship Management:

• Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary financial information and resolve any financial discrepancies.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and vendors, addressing any financial concerns or inquiries.
• Serve as a point of contact for financial matters, providing guidance and support to stakeholders.

System and Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement streamlined procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of financial systems, ensuring data integrity and reliability.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 1-4 years experience.
