To this effect, the state secondary education board are inviting application from suitable qualified candidates for a teaching career in the Akwa Ibom State Secondary School Board.

LOCATION: Akwa Ibom State

QUALIFICATION FOR APPOINTMENT

1. To qualify for appointment, the candidates must posses any of the following certificates:

  • B.Ed, B.A, B.Sc, B.Tech
  • M.Ed, M.A Or M.Sc
  • Higher National Diploma

In the relevant subject areas with a minimum pass grade of 2nd Class Lower Division (2/2), A Second Class Upper Division (2/1) and A First Class will be of an added advantage.

2. THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE COMPLETED OR BEEN EXEMPTED FROM THE NYSC SCHEME

Interested candidates should scan and keep the following documents readily available

  1. First School Leaving Certificate
  2. Senior School Certificate Examination
  3. University Statement of Result
  4. NYSC Discharge / Exemption Certificate

Examination will hold on the 13th Of February, 2021 by 10am prompt in the 3 senatorial districts of Akwa Ibom State at the following centers:

  • Government Secondary School Afaha Eket, Eket
  • Community Secondary School Aka Offot, Uyo.
  • State College, Ikot Ekpene.

      Please stop panicking over the fact that you did not receive any email or ID number after successful submission of application. This is nothing to worry about because your application has been received by AKS SSEB and you will be contacted in due time. This assurance was given by AKS SSEB officials.

      Below is the latest update we extracted from Akwa Ibom SSEB Official Information Center.

      After submitting your form successfully, you will get a pop up message telling you “Thank you for connecting with us, we will respond to you shortly”. Depending on network, you might get an email notification immediately. But even if you don’t receive any notification, be rest assured that we have received your submission [as long as you had received a thank you message!]

    It’s very worrisome that everything seems so difficult in this country. How can we find so difficult to register on a site that has stipulated time of two weeks and before you know this site will be shut down without the people who really need the job will not register.

    Hello admin, please this site is not opening, let’s believe this site is genuine cos this same thing happens 2 years ago when people struggle to apply online at the end the governor says he’s not aware that it’s illegal.

      @ Udo,

      No, this is not an illegal recruitment. It was officially publicized on various national daily and the portal on which the application is taking place is actually Akwa Ibom SSEB official portal.

      The site is actually having loading problem because of high traffic on the portal, however so many people are still applying successfully. If you persist and exercise patience you will also succeed.

      The site has actually improved from yesterday night, i will suggest you try it between 1am and 3am at night, and don’t forget to clear your browser cache before you start. It’s a sacrifice you just have to make.

      @ Didi,

      More often than not, it gets submitted internally when it behaves this way but because of the network congestion it’s not able to display the final acknowledgement.

      Meanwhile just ensure you take note of the APPLICATION ID which was already generated for you when you click SUBMIT. You will need it for the CBT test.

    After loading for a while, nothing seems to work here. I was able to reister only one person on the 18/01/2021 and ever since then it has been enlessly loading with nothing working at all. Please if you people can get accross to them tell them to develope a site that can withstand what they should be expecting from 1000 applicants, if not let the employ those who are capale of doing the work.
    A Website of that nature should not be build on “WORDPRESS”. THE PAGE IS NOW SUSPENDED.
