Rivers State Civil Service Application Has Started – Positions Available

Rivers State Civil Service RSCS application has stated, see available positions in all categories for manual / offline submission 2020. The 5000 recruitment for Rivers State Civil Service Commission has finally started but the application is not online, applicants are to submit  their applications manually at the RSCSC office at Rivers state secretariat.

The 2020 Rivers State Civil Service RSCS application has officially started on the 4th November, 2020 and the application is done manually, handwritten and not online.

Candidates are advise to take action immediately as the submission of application will only last for 2 weeks from the date of this publication.

Method Of Application – Handwritten

Applicant are required to submit handwritten applications, detail of the curriculum vitae and the photocopies of the following credentials:

1. First school leaving certificate

2. West Africa school certificates or its equivalent

3. University degree and other professional certifications where necessary

4.  NYSC discharge certificate or exception letter

5. Local government of origin identification

6. Birth certificate or affidavit of age declaration

Age Limit For 2020 Rivers State Civil Service Recruitment

All applicants for 2020 Rivers State Civil Service Commission (RSCSC) recruitment must not be more than 50 years of age, hence 50 years is the age limit.

 

Where To Submit Application

All handwritten applications must be addressed to the office of the Rivers State Civil Service Commission below:

The Permanent Secretary,
Rivers State Civil Service Commission,
State Secretariat Complex,
Port Harcourt.

 

RSCS Application Closing Date

All application must reach the above address not later than two weeks from the date of this publication. Dated this 4th day of November, 2020. Hence the application will only last for 2 weeks.

 

Note

All applicants will write CBT test as soon as the two weeks of the application submission ends. Do not pay money to any one for favoritism as selection will be strictly based on the applicants performance in the CBT aptitude test, and will be 100% free and fair.

 

It’s RSCS Job For Both Indigenes And Non Indigenes?

Several People have been asking us if  non indigenes  can apply for the 2020 Rivers State Civil Service Recruitment, the answer is yes; the recruitment is for both indigenes and non indegenes. We advise non indegene that are not from Rivers State to also apply as anybody can get the job if perform well in the CBT job aptitude test.

 

Procedures / Protocols In Submitting Application At The Rivers State Civil Service Commission Office – Secretariat

NOTICE TO ALL CANDIDATES:

Candidates are hereby requested to adhere to the following guidelines:

1) Please adhere strictly to all Covid 19 protocols

2) No mask no entry into the hall.

3) Drop your Application into the bag bearing the post you are applying for

4) To avoid overcrowding, please leave the hall immediately after submission of your Application.

5) Applicants for the posts of Clerical Officer, Artisan/Craftsman, Divers, Massagers, Security Guards and Cleaners/Gardeners should address and submit their Applications to the Permanent Secretaries/Heads of Ministries, Departments or Agencies (MDAS) of their choice.

6) Do not apply for more than one post.

7) Please, ensure that all relevant documents including a recent passport size photograph are attached to your Application before submission

8) Do not deal with any person(s) other than the Officers assigned to direct you to the submission point.

9) If any person request for money from you, please report to any of the senior officers in the hall

10) Only Shortlisted candidates would be invited for interview.

11) Applicants will write CBT test after the application submission phase and the final selection will be based on the performance of the applicants in the aptitude test

      It’s true that the application is now online and no longer manual submission. If you have submitted manually before you still need to apply online as the formal one may not be valid naymore
